EVANGELISM THE GREAT COMMISSION “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Matt. 28:19 “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled”. Luke 14:23 THE GOOD NEWS! Our debt has been paid! He was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. (Rom 4:25). So what do we do? “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call. And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation”. Act 2:38-40
JESUS LAID THE FOUNDATION
FOR “According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is. If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward”. I Cor. 3:10-14 WE WERE CHOSEN TO BE FRUITFUL “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you”. John 15:16 WE WERE CHOSEN TO BE FISHERS OF MEN! “And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men”. Matt. 4:19 JESUS HAD A CLEAR EVANGELISTIC TARGET “….I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Matt. 15:24 WE ARE A CHURCH BASED ON TRUTH! THE NEEDS OF UNBELIEVERS DETERMINE OUR EVANGELISTIC PROGRAMS
