Sis. Selina Shepherd – a faithful and dedicated woman of God, fruitful in every good work – was baptized in Jesus’ Name in June 1972 by Elder Charles Taylor at Grace Temple Apostolic Church, and received the Holy Ghost.

In August of 1979, she met Bro. Dwayne Shepherd and they were married a year later.  Sis. Selina Shepherd  has served in various capacities in the church; PYPU Secretary, President of the Nurses’ Guild, Children’s Program Coordinator, Secretary for the G.A.F.T.C. Church Choir, and Sunday School teacher.  She holds to her educational credits and AA in Nursing Administration and double BA in Business Management & Hospital Administration.  In addition to these degrees, she also holds certifications as National Licensed Notary, Certified National Secretary and a Licensed CPR & First Aid Instructor.  Other academic achievements include accredited courses through Aenon Bible College and several leadership seminars.

Her current Executive position still allows Sis. Selina Shepherd  to be a good and faithful servant unto the Lord.  She’s a dedicated director for the Women’s Ministry where she is known for her first class touch, expertise, and creativity in coordinating our annual women’s conferences and retreats.

In addition to her quest for spiritual excellence, Sis. Shepherd not only dedicates herself to our local assembly and district, but also serves as the Assistant Secretary for the California District Council and Council Convention Coordinator.

She is constantly on the cutting edge of excellence in Christ and dedicated to the first calling of her ministry; working with children and teaching them about JESUS!  Her desire to love, teach and apply God’s word will never go un-noticed.  “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.”  Prov. 22:1
