MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the music ministry is:

• To promote the name of Jesus through song, praise and worship Kindness as a way of life.
• To encourage the saints to continue their walk with God and worship Him through song and hymns Honesty in our relationship.
• To disciple souls unto Christ through musical outreach services and programs,
  (i.e. concerts and musicals).
• To teach and encourage the Music Ministry members to be committed to uplifting Christ by worshipping and praising Him through spiritual songs.
• To teach and develop skills of the youth for the ministry of music.

The Greater Apostolic Faith Temple Music Ministry is comprised of five main groups. They include: The Sanctuary Choir, The Youth Choir, The Praise Team, Children's Choir and Musicians.  Each facet of the ministry works to accomplish its individual goals with the ultimate objective of praising our Lord and Savior with excellence.

SANCTUARY CHOIR
Director: Sister Brenda Wynn

The Sanctuary Choir is comprised of an excited group of adults ranging in ages
18 -50. This choir provides music for Sunday and Friday night worship services. We prepare for the services through rehearsal every Tuesday night. There you will find us diligently rehearsing and praising God.


YOUTH CHOIR
Director: Sister Dalena Hubert

The Youth Choir is an enthusiastic group of young people praising God through song. They range in ages 13-35. This group is Directed by Sis. Dalena Hubert., and sends up youthful praise to God every 2nd Friday.


PRAISE TEAM
Director: Minister Kyron Shorter

“Let the High Praise of God Be Heard!” - The Praise Team ushers our church into praise and worship every Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. It is compromised of a selected group of singers that love to praise God.

CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Director: Sister Beryl Mitchell

A group of children praising God in song. They are energetic, excited and rejoicing in the spirit of praise and glory unto God. Their ages range from 2-10 years old. They rehearse during children’s church every month.

MUSICIANS
God has ordained us to praise him on the timbrel, harp and high sounding cymbals. The G.A.F.T. musicians who honor God in praise and worship during weekly services.
