The G.A.F.T.C. Jail and Prison Ministry

The Greater Apostolic Faith Temple Church Jail and Prison Ministry was inaugurated in
December 1999, under the leadership of Pastor Dwayne Shepherd.

The Jail and Prison Ministry is designed as a bible based, evangelistic ministry to give assistance to those who are in custody and transitioning from incarceration.

MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to fully execute the Vision of God by providing service, assistance and spiritual Illumination to those who are or have been incarcerated.

CHARTER STATEMENT
To minister to those who are or have previously been incarcerated and to provide a bridge to enable them to transition again into society… mentally, physically, financially and spiritually.

OUR MINISTRY

• Exhorting, equipping & relaying church services to prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families
• Illuminating the light of God through the hearts and minds of those incarcerated
• Crossing cultural and social backgrounds
• Promoting racial harmony, “For there is no respect of persons with God” [Rom 2:11]

The Jail and Prison Ministry is concerned about the redemptive work that can only be found through Christ Jesus. Our jail and prison ministry is dedicated to the well-being of the entire person.
