Existing to extend the transforming presence of Jesus Christ to women in differing seasons of life and stages of growth by promoting our Pastor’s vision through fellowship, spiritual support, spiritual direction, prayer, discipleship and outreach.

1st Lady Selina Shepherd, Women’s Ministry Director, extends a personal and warm welcome from the G.A.F.T.C. Women’s Ministry! Under the unction and power of God, this ministry provides sacred events to motivate and stimulate our personal relationship with God.

It is our desire to equip the Women through the Word of God with tools that will assist in developing us into the virtuous women that God has called us to be. Our talents and gifts are strategically used to encourage and uplift our sisters in Christ.

Our Bible based scriptures are… Proverbs 31:10 and Proverbs 31:30

WOMEN’S RETREATS:
These weekends are designed with short sessions geared towards a deeper intimacy with God and an opportunity to get to know your sisters in Christ through fun and fellowship! Quiet resorts with natural beauty sets the atmosphere for a “true retreat”!

WOMEN’S CONFERENCES:
These conferences are geared to meet the needs of women of today. A time of rich blessings through the Word of God as you hear from national speakers. It is open to all women interested in pursuing a closer relationship with Christ. These conferences are life-changing, encouraging, uplifting…. will tear down walls and strong holds in your life…… Once you attend, you will never be the same!

FELLOWSHIP TEAM:
This team promotes loving and caring relationships among the sisters by providing various activities to enhance our friendships and spiritual enrichment.

PROJECT G.G.Y.S:
This project is geared towards finding our sisters that have strayed away and bringing them back home. Go Get My Sister!...... You will not be left behind…. If you are MIA…. The sisters band together and literally snatch you out of the hands of the enemy! You are a precious gem… and you are worth fighting for!!

WOMEN’S HOSPITALITY TEAM:
This team play a very important part in the women’s ministry, making phone calls, sending out cards, and making visitations to loved ones we miss or just need encouragement.
